2025-06-10
Latest company news about Specifications and quality standards of aluminum alloy doors and windows.

Aluminum alloy doors and windows include sliding aluminum alloy doors, sliding aluminum alloy windows, hinged aluminum alloy doors, hinged aluminum alloy windows, and aluminum alloy floor spring doors.

Five kinds. All of them have national building standard design drawings.

Each kind of doors and windows is divided into basic doors and windows and combination doors and windows. Basic doors and windows are composed of frames, panels, glass, hardware accessories, sealing materials, etc. Combination doors and windows are composed of two or more basic doors and windows using splicing or turning materials to form other forms of windows or connected doors and windows.

Each kind of door and window is constructed according to the thickness of the door and window frame.

It is divided into several series, for example, a sliding aluminum alloy door with a door frame thickness of 90mm is called a 90 series sliding aluminum alloy door.

Aluminum alloy sliding doors come in two series: 70 and 90. The basic door opening heights are 2100, 2400, 2700, 3000mm, and the basic door opening widths are 1500, 1800, 2100, 2700, 3000, 3300, 3600mm. Sliding aluminum alloy windows come in five series: 55, 60, 70, 90, and 90-I. The basic window opening heights are 900, 1200, 1400, 1500, 1800, 2100mm, and the basic window opening widths are 1200, 1500, 1800, 2100, 2400, 2700, 3000mm.

Aluminum alloy flat open doors come in 50 series, 55 series, and 70 series. The basic door opening height is 2100, 2400, 2700mm, and the basic door opening width is 800, 900, 1200, 1500, 1800mm. Flat open aluminum alloy windows come in 40 series, 50 series, and 70 series. The basic window opening height is 600, 900, 1200, 1400, 1500, 1800, 2100mm; the basic window opening width is 600, 900, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2100mm.

Aluminum alloy floor spring doors come in 70 series and 100 series. The basic door opening heights are 2100, 2400, 2700, 3000, 3300mm, and the basic door opening widths are 900, 1000, 1500, 1800, 2400, 3000, 3300, 3600mm.

The colors available are silver white and bronze.

Glass types can include ordinary flat glass and float glass.
Laminated glass, tempered glass, insulated glass, etc. The thickness of the glass is generally 5mm or 6mm.

Quality requirements.

1. The surface of doors and windows should not have obvious scratches, scrapes, or other defects.

2. The colored surfaces of the adjacent rods of doors and windows should not have obvious color differences.

3. The surfaces of doors and windows should not have aluminum scraps, burrs, oil spots, or other stains, and there should be no overflowing adhesive at the assembly joints.

.

2. Types and specifications of aluminum alloy doors and windows.

1) Aluminum alloy doors and windows products.

2) Specifications and dimensions.

3) Aluminum alloy doors and windows meet wind pressure strength and air infiltration.
Based on three performance indicators: airtightness, rainwater penetration, and watertightness, they are divided into three categories: A (high-performance doors and windows), B (medium-performance doors and windows), and C (low-performance doors and windows). According to the air sound insulation performance, they are divided into four grades, and those with a sound insulation value of 2 sdB or more are sound insulation doors and windows. According to the thermal insulation performance (heat insulation performance), they are divided into three grades, and those with a heat resistance value of 0.25m² K/W or more are thermal insulation doors and windows. The treatment methods of the surface film of aluminum alloy doors and windows include anodizing.

Anodic oxidation; Composite surface film method.

⑶ Aluminum alloy doors and windows product marking rules: When users choose aluminum alloy doors and windows, they should first choose the appropriate doors and windows according to the size of the room. Specifications and sizes, according to the requirements of use, choose the appropriate types of doors and windows. Secondly, according to the use part of the doors and windows (such as interior doors, exterior doors) to determine the various performance requirements of doors and windows, such as windows and doors require a certain heat insulation, sound insulation, water tightness, and air tightness.
Requirements. Finally, users should choose the appropriate door and window frame color according to their own preferences and the matching with other decorative parts.

Quality standard

Look at the materials used. The aluminum profiles used in high-quality aluminum alloy doors and windows, such as thickness, strength, and oxide film, should meet the relevant national standards. The wall thickness of the main load-bearing bars of aluminum alloy windows should be more than 1.4 mm, and the wall thickness of the main load-bearing bars of aluminum alloy doors should be more than 2.0 mm, with tensile strength.

Reach 157 Newtons per square meter, the yield strength should reach 108 Newtons per square millimeter, and the oxide film thickness should reach 10 micrometers. If these standards are not met, the aluminum alloy doors and windows are of poor quality and cannot be used.

Look at the processing. High-quality aluminum alloy doors and windows are finely processed and carefully installed, with good sealing performance and smooth opening and closing. Low-quality aluminum alloy doors and windows, on the other hand, indiscriminately choose aluminum profiles series and specifications, are crudely processed, use saw cutting instead of milling, and are not installed according to requirements. As a result, they have poor sealing performance and cannot open and close smoothly. Not only do they leak wind and rain and cause glass cracking, but also in the event of strong winds and external forces, they are prone to scrape off or knock off the sliding parts or glass, which can damage property and injure people.

Look at the price. Under normal circumstances, high-quality aluminum alloy doors and windows are about 30% more expensive than inferior ones due to their higher production costs. Some aluminum alloy doors and windows made of aluminum profiles with a wall thickness of only 0.6-0.8 millimeters have a tensile strength and yield strength much lower than the relevant national standards, which is very unsafe to use. In addition, there are many individual proprietors who process aluminum alloy doors and windows, and they do not understand the structural characteristics and performance of aluminum alloy doors and windows. In order to reduce costs, they cut corners and substitute inferior products for good ones, which poses a great risk to the product. Therefore, it is generally not advisable to use them.
It is best to choose products from re****ble aluminum alloy door and window manufacturers. Here, we need to make one thing clear: the national standard for profile thickness is 1.4mm. If the supplier chooses materials with a wall thickness of 1.2mm or 1.0mm or even thinner, they are all substandard products. Please pay attention to this when you are making a purchase.

Look at the material.

There are mainly six aspects to consider in terms of material selection:

l Thickness: Aluminum alloy sliding doors and windows come in two series, 70 and 90. For aluminum alloy sliding doors inside residential buildings, 70 series is sufficient. The series number of aluminum alloy represents the millimeter size of the door frame thickness structure. Common aluminum alloy sliding windows include 55 series, 60 series, 70 series, and 90 series. The selection should be based on the size of the window opening and the local wind pressure value. Aluminum alloy sliding windows used to enclose balconies should not be less than 70 series.

Intensity: The tensile strength should reach 157 Newtons per square millimeter, and the yield strength should reach 108 Newtons per square millimeter. When purchasing, you can bend the profile moderately, and it should be able to return to its original state after letting go.

l Color: The color of the same aluminum alloy profile should be consistent. If the color difference is obvious, it is not suitable to purchase.

l Flatness: Check the surface of the aluminum alloy profiles, which should be without any indentations or bulges.

L Glossiness: When choosing aluminum alloy doors and windows, avoid selecting profiles with obvious defects such as open air bubbles (white spots) and ash residues (black spots), cracks, burrs, and peeling.

l Oxidation degree: The thickness of the oxide film should reach 10 micrometers. When purchasing, lightly scratch the surface of the profile to see if the oxide film on its surface can be wiped off.
